Second opinions about my health condition

Second opinions about my health condition. I wonder how many people would have wished that they would have a second opinion before under going a back surgery. Animation tends to make surgery so simple but many people are left holding the bag after a successful surgery and they still have the pain. MRI is not the definitive answer to whether you should have disc surgery or not in many cases. I believe that a good orthopedic and neurological exam often tells a better diagnosis than just going blindly with the MRI. Combined , they are about as close to a great evaluation as possible. However, there are a significant amount of false positives in a MRI. Often the origin of your pain doesn't show up on a MRI. Many people have disc bulging on MRIs and have no pain so logically, without the other exams, a doctor maybe looking at the wrong cause of your problem. I have been practicing Chiropractic since 1982 and I have numerous times adjusted a patients neck and there back pain went away. How? Everything is connected in your spine from top to bottom. Pain can and does pop out anywhere. I look at your body a little bit different than the auto parts store approach that some MDs do. I look for the primary subluxation or misalignment and a lot of times it is away from the pain area not to say it can't be in the pain area but I'm trying to make a point. Chiropractic looks at your whole body and the way it is functioning as oppose to slapping in a new part. Your body is much more complex than a car. What I am offering is to take a fresh look at your problem and give you the Chiropractic approach to helping your problem. I am 1-5 certified in Thompson Technique in the world from Palmer College of Chiropractic and I give second opinions on Tuesday and Thursday from 3-5 with a appointment with a completed case history from my website along with any x-rays and reports from your MD or another chiropractor. I always think two heads are better than one and sometimes fresh eyes on a problem can see things that may have been overlooked from the beginning. All I can do is give you a honest opinion of your current state of health and many times we have given palliative relief and often correct the initial problem that was never addressed. Either way, I wish I could help everyone but realistically , it's about 50/50 for people who have had back surgery. It's hard to uncrack an egg so I blog here to help prevent unnecessary surgery and medication. I believe that the best approach is Chiropractic first, drugs second and surgery last. A lot of quality of lives could have been improved by following that simple rule, not to say that there are exceptions. If I get in a major car accident, get me to a hospital quick. That doesn't mean that you shouldn't follow up with a chiropractor once you get out of acute care. We're here to help the community to suffer less pain and make it stronger by doing our part. Think I'm going to stop blogging now. Check out my previous blogs and check back for future ones as I do this about once a week.
